Emergencies happen please let me know so that I can treat your situation with the personal attention and respect. I recognize that circumstances arise that are out of yours and my control and will try to make exceptions where warranted on those rare occassions.
Scope of Practice
Please remember I am not a doctor and that means I can not diagnose. I also can not read any of your images (x-rays, mri's, etc.). Nor I can not adjust you. All of these things are outside of my scope of practice.
Swedish VS Therapeutic
When coming to my practice for relief and relaxation you will hear the phrases Swedish, Therapeutic, and restorative massage. How are those differet from one another? Swedish is the foundation for all of my techniques/modalities and is the style of relaxation massage I provide. Therapeutic and restorative is getting into the nitty gritty of muscles. Typically used to help with pain, injuries, and other ailments/medical conditions.

There are times that it does not feel soothing and relaxing with therapeutic and restorative massage. Modalities geared to helping injuries, pain, etc., can be uncomfortable but through constant communication with your therapist a good, safe balance in pressure and pace can help in your wellness and care plan.
Minors
Minors are eligible to be worked on at the age of 14, and older. By the state of Kansas law, any minor scheduled for a massage must be accompanied by an adult. This includes anyone of the age 17 and under. This is non-negotiable and will be enforced.
